Jacqueline Guzzetta is the Founder and Executive Director of Cornerstone College Planning where she and her experienced team successfully help families manage all aspects of the college planning process. Prior to branching out independently, she spent several years as the Director of Admissions Planning at a local college planning company and as a Senior Admissions Specialist at a large, nationally ranked university. Jacqueline completed her Bachelor’s, Master’s and Ph.D. coursework within the UC system where she was fortunate to have had the opportunity to teach college courses and mentor students. With over 20 years of experience in the college admissions process, reviewing applications and college essays, she is intimately familiar with what it takes to get into, and be successful at a university.

Jacqueline is unique from many college counselors in that she is also educated in the financial aspects of college planning. As a Certified College Funding Specialist (CCFS), through the Association of Certified College Funding Specialists (ACCFS), and formerly a Certified College Planning Specialist through the National Institute of Certified College Planners (NICCP), she enjoys working with families to not only understand and navigate the complexities of the financial aid process, but in finding and funding excellent college options. 

Jacqueline is a member of the Western Association of College Admissions Counselors (WACAC), the National Association of College Admissions Counselors (NACAC) and the National College Advocacy Group (NCAG). She frequently presents workshops within the community, educating families on the ins and outs of every aspect of the college planning process. Her speaking engagements have included high schools, libraries, non-profit youth organizations and an interview segment on the CBS Evening News with Katie Couric. 

Jacqueline has over two decades of experience in the college planning arena; she is truly passionate about helping student’s college dreams materialize.
